DEIS Gaeltachta Scholarship Scheme
The DEIS Gaeltachta Scholarship Scheme supports students from DEIS post-primary schools to attend recognised Irish-language summer colleges. The initiative is administered by Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board and funded by The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.
Who Can Apply?
- Post-primary students attending official DEIS status post primary schools.
- Students learning Irish as a school subject in the current academic year.
- Applicants who upload a proof of placement in a recognised Gaeltacht summer college - applications without this will not be considered valid.
This Scheme only applies to two and three week courses.
